I havent done meth for around 5 years now but I did do them for more then 10 years. smoking and snorting. I have a lot of symptoms such as depression and mental problems but unsure if these are from the meth use. NEED detailed list of physical and mental symptoms possibly linked to the use of meth...... |

First off....Congrats for 5 years!!! I never did meth, but my husband was a crystal meth addict for 5 years. I'd have him answer this, but he's sleeping. My husband was extremely depressed for the first year after his last meth binge and in the mean time was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder along with ADHD. He was always a hyper person, but never extremely depressed where he wouldn't move, or want to go on etc etc.....I thought it was part of his withdrawl, but within a years time he got better...plus his medication for the bipolar really helped. It's been over 2 years now and he still has his moments. I know from what he's told me and what I've noticed.......his memory isn't that good...he forgets things or events that had happened. He still has shakes every once in a while & twitches in his sleep. He also needs to go to the dentist because he said he's having problems with his teeth...they haven't fallen out but he's afraid with all the toxic stuff it's made with may have effected them....especially since when he was on it he really wasn't good with hygiene. Like I said....I wish he could answer this himself cause he knows best, but I hope from what I've told you helps. I wish you the best.....one day at a time. |
