I have a suspicion that someone i know may be using meth and i was just wondering if foaming of the mouth was a side effect and if not what drug could cause this?he's currently in jail.... he went last night i was actually more trying to help one of my family members who is in a bad situation with this person... and she said he went crazy on her and was foaming and had sores on his arms and i have already suspected meth before she told me this

Is anxiety from meth use permanent?
I'm 19 and did meth 10 15 times over 6 months. This was 3 months ago. I had a panic attack after reading up on how horrible it was and quit right after I also drank and smoked pot for 2 years, stopped that too . I still have some anxiety but it got a lot better and I will never touch a drug again. I just don't want this to be permanent. I'm eating healthier, taking supplements, and starting to workout. Please say ill recover and I didn't screw myself. I saw a doctor and they just prescribed me with xanax. I stopped taking it because it didn't help and am just waiting it out. I've seen kids do way more than me but they seem okay, but they have went back to it. I stopped talking to a lot of people because I don't do drugs anymore. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and life is getting a lot better better than it was before i touched the drugs . But i still have anxiety and my legs have a slight twitch which is irritating. Idk I just don't feel as healthy as I was, first 2 months I had panic attacks but I haven't had one in a while. So what does the yahoo community think? am I screwed or just still in the process of healing?

What are the effects of meth use in LONG-TERM users?? ?
More specifically, the effects of meth even AFTER the user that quit for about 8 months, but used the drug for 10 years consistently. Personal experience, not just textbook answers would be great too... I'm asking ABOUT someone so I don't have a clue about this ish . Thanks Might be good to note that the meth use started in adolescence and until early this year... Is there any medication or therapy that would help if there are any manifestations of long term abuse? Meth support groups that are NOT narc anon?

Incoherent communications as sign of mental confusion in the withdrawal stage of meth use?
One of my closest friends who was never a user before just started working in a bar where it's known that there is a higher incidence of meth use among its staff. I started to notice strange things and changes about her. Since I can't see her frequently lately, it's only with text messages where we can communicate.Lately, I found all of her text messages to me incoherent and I have to think very carefully and try to guess what she's trying to say. She was not like this before.Today I went to her house and talked to her briefly.She looked fine and definitely not drunk or intoxicated but somehow looked drowsy. I hope she just lacked some sleep.Or maybe she was on the withdrawal stage of meth use hence the look of drowsiness and the incoherent messages. After I left, she sent me another incoherent message. When I tried to clarify what she was trying to say and pointed out to her the incoherence because I already sensed something was not right, she didn't answer back.My question is, is an incoherent communication a possible sign of being high, or being on the withdrawal stage, of meth use? Short of having her tested, are these observations, most especially the incoherent messages, enough basis for me to take further action?I'd appreciate answers from people who have first hand experience of meth use. My lunch friend today has sores on her arms, meth use?
She is a new friend. We used to work together and I notice she always wore long sleeves and I though that maybe she was just cold, it was cold in there. But today on a hot 90 degree day she wore a black shirt with 3 4 sleeves and she had sores, old and new all over her arms, the arms that I could see. These sores were dimes size. Some were new and some were old. You could tell where some were scarred and healed. Some were kind of new. Sound like meth???Teeth were ok but not great, she did sort of hide them a lot. I feel a bit torn as I get that she is trying to have a normal life and wants me to be her friend and be a part of it. She is kind. I can tell she knows that I'm totally clean and have never done anything like drugs ever before and I think she likes that. It's not a trait I would ever choose in my friends, that the have done drugs before but I almost feel bad not being her friend. She is sooo obviously trying to lead a normal, productive life. She has an excellent job, 3 x my salary. Owns a big great home. Single but looking to marry. Gotta respect someone that has come from drug use to home ownership. But some of the sores weren't exactly fresh but not exactly old either. I would say 1 2 months old, I work in nursing and I could tell by stealing quick glances that they had some time to heal. Not sure what to do.

What are the long term affects of meth use?


Theoretically is it possible that heavy crack cocaine/crystal meth use can “kinda cure� schizophrenia?
I know it sounds like a retarded question but seriously. Many doctors believe that the cause of severe psychotic illnesses are linked to the abundance of the chemical dopamine and the neurotransmitters not working correctly. From everything I ve read and heard heavy crack and meth users obliterate the bodies natural ability to create this chemical even after they are no longer using. By the way I m not schizophrenic and I m not a junky.

Dumb decisions and all that, ya, I know. But i like to live before I die, so i try to have as much fun as i can.. and sometimes.. illegal substance is involved.. I got it from my sisters friend later to find out she was a shady dealer , i had asked for an 8 ball of coke for some friends and I.. Me, nor my friends, having never done this drug, none of us knew what it looked like, so we just got it and snorted it. One guy dipped his cigarette in it and then smoked it. I hit that cigarette once as well. Later to find out.. We had smoked Meth.. Not coke. Ive read a lot of forums saying it is a VERY addicting drug, and the first time you do it you always want to do it again... Definitely WRONG in my case. I got burns in my mouth from the crap and they hurt like hell. Im staying as far away from this crap as humanly POSSIBLE But to the question part.. If i only did a few lines i believe 3 or 4 small ones over a 24 hour or so period .. Are there going to be any other side effects that i haven't read about? I already have the burns on the inside of my mouth.. mainly on my tongue If anyone knows a faster way to get rid of that, that is helpful as well. Thanks
