Meth Addictions

Question: Good book on crystal meth addiction?

My father was absent most of my life due to his addiction to meth. He has been clean for three years and has been back in my life for about two. I am having trouble bonding with him, it feels like there is a barrier and I thought that if I read about meth addiction it may help me understand were he is coming from. I hope that makes sense, I appreciate any ideas...

"crank " "go ask alice " i'm not sure which was the title exactly but it's a journal the publishers published anonymously; the addict is a teenage girl and you can see how it changes her life + those around her - i think it'll help because 1, it's a real life story, and 2, you can see how one could fall into addiction and maybe it'll help with seeing him above his addiction
