This year, I got addicted to meth.Like, hardcore addicted. I smoked it, never shot up, but I went on binges that lasted for days. On these binges I wouldn't eat, sleep, or do much of anything besides smoke meth.I got physically addicted to it, yeah, but I got even more emotionally addicted to it. It was all I cared about. I didn't care about my family, friends, animals, education... ANYTHING. And then I quit. Cold turkey. I have no idea how, but I quit.And ever since then... I can't feel normal. I've spent the last few months majorly depressed every day, and I'm so JEALOUS of the kids in my school, because they can go through life feeling happy when they're supposed to, excited when they're supposed to... I can't. I just can't be happy. Not only that, but I can't concentrate on ANYTHING. I have racing thoughts. My brain is just so effed up, I can't stand it. Sometimes, I just need someone to talk to, but I can honestly say that no one cares... As far as my friends are concerned, it's my fault, I did it to myself. Which is true. But all I wanted was to be f cking HAPPY That's the only reason I ever touched dope. And I want to do meth again, really badly. I just want to know when all of this will go away... The apathy, the depression, the everything... I can't stand it.I'm 14, btw, and I used every day for about 6 months.I'm constantly smoking weed.Doesn't make it better. NOTHING makes it better.

Question about meth abuse and recovery?
I used meth everyday for over a year. I stopped cold turkey just before I got married and have been clean for 3 years. Ever since I stopped using the drug I feel like I never really got back to my old self again. Things that I used to love doing don't interest me anymore and it takes a lot to make me happy and I am easily irritated and not as layed back as i used to be. It has gotten a lot better over the years but I am still not my old self yet. My wife thinks that I may have a mild case of depression. Could this be true? If it is would getting put on anti depressants help with my situation or will it just get better over time. Thanks in advance for your answeres.Thanks for your answers ladies. Would I go to my normal Doctor or should I see a phsycologist?

I've been clean for almost two years now, and I really regret getting involved with meth. The damage to my teeth and overall appearance have been terrible...A lot of my teeth have decayed and all of them have been severely worn down as a result of the bruxism involved.
